Vikram Nanjappa likes to be described as an interested and well-informed amateur. He draws his inspiration from the band of men called the Orientalists, most of whom were amateurs. Like them, his field of enquiry is ‘Man and Nature.

A reputed naturalist, wildlife writer and wildlife photographer, he led the Naturalist team at Evolve Back Kuruba Safari Lodge before venturing into the field of Wildlife Conservation  with the Asian Nature Conservation Foundation. He is presently Manager Marketing with Evolve Back Resorts and spends his spare time supporting various Wildlife Conservation initiatives
